CMAT is an All-India Level (62 cities), computer-based exam which is conducted once every year in the month of January for admission to MBA/PGDM program offered by over 1000 management institutes across India. Till 2018, CMAT was conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). From 2019 onwards CMAT will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), set up by the Government of India. CMAT 2019 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 am till 12:30 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
CMAT
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2019-20 can also apply for CMAT-2019 computer based test (CBT). The candidate must be a citizen of India.
There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT-2019
CMAT exam pattern brings out the best in MBA aspirants by testing their analytical, logical and mathematical skills along with the verbal ability and general awareness.
From 2019 CMAT will be conducted in online mode. The total number of questions in the exam paper will be 100 and candidates will get 180 minutes to answer all the questions. There is no sectional time limit in CMAT, but there is negative marking.
